Workshops For Women Basic Line Drawing & Doodling Thursday 12 March
Basic line drawing & doodling
Thursday 12th March 7pm-9pm
Mindfulness — the ability to be fully present in the moment — can have so many benefits, including decreased stress levels and increased focus & happiness. Mindfulness is having a huge effect on peoples’ lives, and drawing or doodling is a great way to get into the practice.
To begin we will look at the works of Lisa Congdon, Keith Haring and Kyle Hughes-Odgers for inspiration, and then practice our own line drawing and doodling.
Next we will dive in to some basic art principles and techniques to get your drawings underway, and practice drawing simplified versions of images, before filling a page with a pattern of your choice.
Enjoy a night out while learning something new, connecting with other women and getting your art & craft on!
Grazing platter and tea / coffee provided (please bring a reusable cup!)
Classes will be taught by local Macedon Ranges mum & art teacher, Brooke McInnes.
*Minimum numbers are required for class to run.
*Due to limited spaces, bookings are non-refundable.
